The ShareMetric Chrome Extension is a tool I developed for Content Harmony to display social shares, incoming link metrics, and organic search visibility in your Chrome browser.
Software DevelopmentBusiness partner Jordan Soltman and I started Seattle Event Rentals shortly after buying a set of PA speakers for personal use. What started as a whimiscal experiment grew into a successful rental business serving hundreds of clients in the greater Seattle area. We ran and expanded the business for two years before selling it in November of 2013.
Entrepreneurship, Web MarketingMapRedonk is a distributed computing platform that uses browsers as computing agents. Visitors of a website in MapRedonk's network become computing nodes - helping researchers and companies solve complex problems cheaply and efficiently.
We created MapRedonk to be lightweight, extensible, and easy to use. Developers define their initialization, map, computer, and reduce functions and we distribute the work through an embeddable script tag.
We built MapRedonk for the 2014 DubHacks hackathon in under 24 hours. We were finalists at the hackathon.
Software DevelopmentI developed the new web application for administering the UUF process at the University of Washington while I worked at the Husky Union Building. This application gets used whenever an event is hosted on the University campus.
Software DevelopmentDisTrack was a design concept for a personal informatics, aka quantified self, application that gives you insight into your work habits and provides you with tools to stay focused during the day.
Design, HCIHowToGetTickets.com was a service that business partner Jordan Soltman and I setup to help people get tickets to the Daily Show, Colbert Report, The Tonight Show, and others. We offered automated registrations, notifications, and how to guides for getting tickets.
Entrepreneurship, Software Development3.6 million children suffer from speech impediments in the USA alone, and 70% of those do not qualify for the free therapy offered in the public school system. Legato was a proposed solution to that problem. By combining state of the art speech recognition technology with educational games, we could provide an automated speech therapy solution to children with speech impediments.
Legato was one of the teams selected to be in the University of Washington's 2014 Business Plan Competition.
